On that rainy night, the little boy felt sad. Sleep vanished, tears that soften cruel hearts ran down his cheeks. He sat on his bed looking at the pictures of his favorite football super star hung on the wall, wondering:
“Should I wait too long to see him play versus world stars?!”
The ten-year-old boy was intolerant and showed painful sadness. He thought of every idea to make his dream come true, but what would he do?!
The next morning, he sat at the dining table with the family gathered around it. He looked at everyone and said with great joy:
- The national football team won the World Cup yesterday evening!
Everyone looked at him in amazement.
His father thought he had been hit in the head. His mother thought he had gone mad with rage after losing the playoff match!
His father smiled calmly trying to conceal the storm raging inside him and said:
-Did you see the teams that played against us? Who scored the goals?
The boy got excited and said:
- Egypt won all the matches, and finally won hard-fought over Brazil.
The father sighed in confusion and said:
- Egypt played all the tournament matches in one night?!
The boy said, filled with joy:
- Yes, and we defeated the world's football stars and Salah was the tournament's top scorer.
The mother's patience ran out, her heart pounding in her chest; She looked at her husband and asked him in a whisper:
-Is my son okay?!
The boy hurried to his room and quickly returned. He showed them all the goals scored by the Egyptian national football team in the Football Stars game that he downloaded from the play store hours ago!

حلم البطولة
في تلك الليلة الطويلة الممطرة اغتم الصبيّ؛ فجافاه النوم، تتسابق الدموع على خديه، أدمعٌ ترقق القلب القاسي، جلس على سريره ينظر إلى صور نجمه المفضل المعلقة على الحائط متسائلًا:
"هل أنتظر طويلًا حتى أراه يلاعب نجوم العالم؟!"
كان الصبي، ذو العشرة أعوام، دومًا صعب الانقياد، وأظهر حزنًا شديدًا؛ فكرس كل فكره حتى يتحقق حلمه، لكن تراه ماذا يفعل؟!
في صباح اليوم التالي، جلس إلى مائدة الطعام، والأسرة تتحلق حولها، ونظر إلى الجميع وقال بفرح شديد:
- فاز المنتخب الوطني بكأس العالم مساء أمس!
نظر إليه الجميع في ذهول، ظن والده أنه قد أصيب في رأسه، وظنت أمه أنه جُنَّ من الغيظ بعد ضياع الأمل بخسارة المباراة الفاصلة!
ابتسم والده في هدوء محاولًا كتمان العاصفة التي تثور بداخله وقال:
- وهل رأيت المنتخبات التي لعبت أمامنا؟ قل لي من أحرز الأهداف؟
تحمَّس الصبي واندفع قائلًا:
- فازت مصر في كل المباريات، وأخيرًا فازت بشق الأنفس على البرازيل.
تنهد الأب في حيرة وقال:
- لعبت مصر كل مباريات البطولة في ليلة واحدة؟!
قال الصبي تغمره الفرحة:
- نعم، وهزمنا نجوم العالم، وصلاح هداف البطولة الأول.
نفد صبر الأم التي اضطرب قلبها يخفق في صدرها؛ فنظرت إلى زوجها تسأله في همس:
- هل ولدي بخير؟!
أسرع الصبي إلى غرفته ثم عاد سريعًا؛ ليعرض عليهم جميع الأهداف التي سجلها المنتخب الوطني في لعبة نجوم كرة القدم التي قام بتنزيلها من متجر الألعاب!
