ليلة أمس
على حافة نهر نائمون كثر..
فلكي يعالج نجمة جريحة
مزق شحمة أذنيها رائد فضاء ..
دب متقاعد يغني لسمكة سلمون..
جثث تتقاسم غنائم هلا مية..
لم تستسلم لزئير الحتميات..
حشد نوارس
يعزي سمكة تبكي بمرارة ..
عيناها مغرورقتان بالضوء
ليلة أمس
أنقذني بائع مومياءات
من فكي تمساح أمريكي..
يخفي رهائن تحت لسانه..
اذ فتح النار عليه بشراهة..
هدد سكان النهر بابادة جماعية..
شكرته شجرة عمياء بدلا مني..
ترتاد دار الأوبرا في آذار..
يصحبها نمر حلو الصوت
كان عازف كلارنيت في ثكنة أثرية .

On the river’s edge there are many sleepers
An astronomer treats a wounded star
Her earlobes tore off, an astronaut
A retired bear singing to a salmon fish
Corpses share the jelly-like spoils
It did not succumb to the roar of inevitability
A horde of seagulls
Comfort a fish crying bitterly
Her eyes filled with light.
last night
A mummy seller saved me
From the jaws of an American Crocodile
Hides hostages under his tongue
As he greedily opened fire on it
Threatened the inhabitants of the river with genocide.
A blind tree thanked him instead of me,
She's Frequenting the opera house in March.
Accompanied by a sweet-sounding tiger
That was a clarinet player in antique barracks.
